Filament tape, or "strapping tape," consists of a pressure-sensitive adhesive coated onto a backing material which is usually a polypropylene or polyester film with fiberglass filaments embedded to add high tensile strength. Although a variety of grades are available, some filament tapes have a tensile strength of up to 600 pounds per inch of width!
Versatility of Applications
